Unifying a multi-platform crypto wallet under a single design system

Exodus is a multi-platform crypto wallet spanning mobile, desktop, and browser extension. As the product evolved, each platform developed its own visual language and UX patterns, increasing complexity across design and development. This project focused on unifying the experience into a single, scalable system.

I initiated and led the concept of a unified visual direction and design system. The work included redefining core UI patterns, addressing key UX inconsistencies, and creating a shared foundation for designing features once and adapting them across platforms. The goal was to reduce design and development overhead while improving consistency and delivery speed.

The approach introduced a more scalable way of working, with shared components reducing duplication and simplifying cross-platform implementation. Compared to the existing workflow, this could have reduced design effort by an estimated 30–50% while improving overall consistency.
